Most people would just Google curriculum vitae templates, but these templates are boring and won’t attract the HR recruiters. You need a curriculum vitae that differs you from all the other applicants, yet still describes you perfectly for the position you want. Here are some things you need to pay attention to when creating the perfect curriculum vitae.

People often think that a curriculum vitae doesn’t need a picture of yourself, because why should your appearance matter? It does. Not having a picture on your curriculum vitae just won’t be detailed enough. Have a professional picture was taken, not a selfie of you hanging out on the beach that one summer. It should look like your license picture, but maybe with a little smile. Depending on the position, sometimes positions like creative marketing or travel journalist is more relaxed.

Experience

Your experience should be sorted from the most recent one to the oldest one. It should start with your organizational experience and on to your work experience. If you don’t have organizational experience, you can dismiss it. Make sure you state what position you were in during the experience, what company or organization you worked for and the duration. If there’s space, you should also provide a description of the experience in one or two sentences.
